Southern
Chile includes extended National Parks
with crystalline lakes, which are surrounded by luxuriant
forests. A great number of stately volcanoes, capped
with eternal snow, impressively rise in the highs Andes
.
This region is also known for some of the best freshwater
fishing in the
world, featuring record Trout and Salmon to challenge
even the most experienced or delight the novice.
Urban centers such as Valdivia, Osorno, Frutillar,Puerto
Varas and Puerto Montt have incorporated features
of this culture into their architecture and distinct
local dishes. |

Day
1:Puerto
Montt/Pto Varas
Arrival to Puerto Montt Airport. Reception and transfer to the
hotel. In the afternoon we will take a city tour of Puerto Montt,
starting with a visit to the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral.
Then we go to the top of one of the city’s 4 hills (Melipulli),
from where we will appreciate a panoramic view of Puerto Montt,
its port, Tenglo Island, the small bay of Reloncaví and
the beginning of the Andes Mountains Patagonian stretch. Then
we will visit the beach-resorts of Pelluco and Chinquihue, and
on the way we will see the fish factories, Naval and Marine shipyards
followed by the handicraft market of Angelmó. We will then
go to the hotel in Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas. Overnight
Day 2:Puerto Montt/Pto
Varas/Peulla
Breakfast at the Hotel. At the agreed time, departure for the
“Excursion to Peulla”. We will drive along the edge
of Lake Llanquihue, near the Calbuco volcano, and then enter the
Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, from where we will
be able to see the majesty of the Osorno volcano, the waterfalls
of Petrohué river and Lake Todos los Santos. We will sail
the beautiful emerald-coloured waters of this lake where you will
be able to appreciate the shore bordered by native forests, mountains,
volcanoes, hills and waterfalls. Arrival to Peulla, a little mountain
village situated on the eastern shore of Lake Todos los Santos.
Dinner and lodging in Hotel Peulla.
Day 3:Peulla / Puerto
Montt or Puerto Varas
Breakfast at the hotel. We will take the return Lake crossing
from Peulla to the hotel in Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas. Overnight.
Day 4:Puerto Montt
or Puerto Varas
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time transfer to the airport
for the departure flight.

1:Puerto
Montt/Pto Varas
Reception at airport and transfer to the hotel in Puerto Mont/Puerto
Varas. Rest of the day at leisure (optional Puerto Mont city tour).
Overnight.
Day 2:Puerto Montt/Pto
Varas/Peulla
Early morning departure to the Lake Crossing tour taking the road
which borders large Llanquihue Lake. Arrival in Petrohué
to board the Catamaran that crosses Todos Los Santos Lake. Disembark
and overnight in Peulla, a small village nestled amidst the Andes.
Day 3:Peulla/Bariloche
Departure by bus for the Argentine border crossing. Continue on
to Puerto Frías to cruise to Puerto Blest. After a brief
motorcoach ride, board another motorboard for the crossing of
Nahuel Huapi Lake, surrounded by snowcapped peaks and lush green
forest. Arrive at Pañuelo Port and transfer to Bariloche
hotel.
Day 4:Bariloche
Transfer to the airport or Bus Terminal in Bariloche

1:
Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: Temuco /
Pucon
Transfer to the airport and board your flight to Temuco. Reception
at the airport and transfer to Pucon, about a 1 hour drive. Lunch,
then afternoon bike ride into the forest to Ojos del Caburga,
or Caburgua's Eyes, a mysterius group of pools by the nearby a
Caburgua Lake through underground channels. Overnight.
Day 3: Pucon
Full day excursion to the Villarrica Volcano. Ride about half
way up the volcano. It stands nearly 9,000 feet, enjoying lush
vegatation, numerous waterfalls and spectacular panoramic views
of the entire region. Have a hearty picnic lunch, then descend
by bike. Return to Pucon. Overnight.
Day 4: Pucon/Puerto
Varas
Settle in for a relaxing transfer to Puerto Varas via the scenic
backroad route through Panguipulli, the town on the lake of the
same name. It is a 4 hour drive with a restaurant stop for lunch
in route. Overnight.
Day 5: Puerto Varas
Today's full day bike ride begins at the nearby village of Llanquihue.
Ride some 10 miles along the lake, under the watchful gaze of
volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco, to Frutillar. Box lunch of route.
Return in the afternoon. Overnight.
Day 6:Puerto Varas
Full day hike/bike begins at the nearby village of Ensenada. From
here,ascend Osorno volcano: Climb to the refuge about 3,300 feet,
then bike down, enjoying the unforgettable views of Llanquihue
Lake and Calbuco volcano. Lunch included. Return to Puerto Varas.

1:Puerto
Montt/Ancud
Departure in the morning from Puerto Montt to visit the Pacific
port of Ancud on Chiloé Island. Once we have crossed the
Chacao Channel and set foot on the island our first port of call
will be the village of Chacao. We will then continue on to Ancud.
On arrival we will visit the Museum where we will find out about
the island’s history. After lunch (not included) we will
visit the fort of San Antonio, where the withdrawl of the Spaniards
from American soil was signed, and Arena Gruesa Beach. We’ll
then take the road to Fort Ahui on the extreme west of Ancud Bay
near the Corona lighthouse. Here you will have a spectacular panoramic
view of the area and from where you will be able to glean an insight
into the Spanish strategy in colonial times as they protected
the town by building fortifications on either side of the bay.
Return by Mar Brava along a track that runs along beaches on the
Pacific coast. On our return to Ancud we will go up Huaihuén
hill from where we will have a view of the Pacific Ocean, Ancud,
and the Pudeto and Continente rivers. Arrival to the Hotel in
Ancud. Overnight at the hotel in Ancud.
Day 2:Ancud
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure.Overnight .
Day
3:Ancud/ Castro/ Puerto Montt
Breakfast at the Hotel. We will depart in the morning for Castro
by S.I.B. service. On route we will see the range of hills on
the island known as the “Cordillera de San Pedro”
and we will also be able to see the chain of volcanoes of the
Andes mountain range on the mainland. We will visit the town of
Dalcahue with its famous handicraft fair where you will be able
to purchase woven or knitted articles and local basket work. Free
time to visit the local church which is a national Monument. We
will continue our trip to Castro, the capital of Chiloé.
We will visit the town famous for its houses built on stilts over
the water and the Church of San Francisco. Return to Puerto Montt
in the late afternoon leaving the passengers at the Airport or
the hotel.
